Invest in Avalanche
What is Avalanche?
Avalanche is a blockchain protocol that aims to address the blockchain trilemma of scalability, security and decentralisation. Like Ethereum, Avalanche supports smart contracts to run decentralised applications (dApps) on its network. Avalanche’s unique Proof of Stake (PoS) mechanism allows its blockchain to be well equipped to handle fast transaction speed, low costs, and eco-friendliness without having to sacrifice decentralisation or security.
Avalanche’s native token, AVAX, is used to power its ecosystem. AVAX serves as the means to distribute system rewards, participate in governance and facilitate transactions on the network by paying fees in AVAX.

Why invest in Avalanche?
Transactions on the Avalanche network are finalised in less than two seconds and can process over +4,500 transactions per second (More than Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Polkadot combined), putting it on par with Visa and PayPal at a fraction of the cost.
The gas fees on Avalanche used for creating assets, creating blockchains, and paying transactions fees are actually burned. The burning of fees allows the AVAX supply to be reduced over time, therefore permanently lowering the amount of AVAX in circulation.
Currently, many blockchains can’t talk to each other and leverage each other's functionalities or data. Avalanche's interoperable blockchains allow for this to be possible. Unlike Polkadot parachains or Ethereum Shards, Avalanche can host unlimited subsets, allowing unlimited blockchain interoperability.
Based on the total value locked (TVL) into smart contract platforms, Avalanche is currently the fourth largest blockchain, overtaking Solana with 4.6% of all smart contract value locked.
